Access to many paths and trails of varying degrees of difficulty is facilitated by the Summer opening of the Ovovia gondola, which can transport you to the summit of Monte Gomito in just seven minutes.

Abetone Gravity Park ... 700 metres of vertical descent!

Abetone Ovovia Gravity Park is a large area dedicated entirely to Mountain Biking, the only one in Italy served by a modern gondola that can ascend the 700 metres to the summit in just 7 minutes.

A variety of trails of between 4 and 6 km in length, are numbered and well marked with tapes. All are designed to offer adrenaline junkies the maximum possible gravity thrill and the opportunity to experience the latest technologies offered by the Kona cycling test centre. Mountain bike novices are welcome too and training packages are available.

A number of cross-country biking circular trails of between 5 and 30 km start from the base of the gondola, and although interconnected with one another, will allow a more comprehensive overview of the Abetone area. Extended routes are also possible.
